About our Fort Walton Beach office
We believe emotional health is a vital part of a person's overall health. That's why our mental health professionals are committed to providing patients access to the services and treatments they need to regain a sense of control and stability in their lives.
Inpatient mental health services
Our team wants to help stabilize patients who are in crisis and prepare them for continued care outside of an inpatient environment. For patients who are 18 and older, we offer on-site inpatient psychiatric care in a 48-bed unit.
Outpatient mental health services
Sometimes, patients may need care but can't step away from their work, school or family responsibilities. We offer two programs — an intensive outpatient program and a partial hospitalization program — for those in need of structured outpatient behavioral care rather than an inpatient hospital stay.
We perform free, confidential screenings to help patients determine which program is right for them.

Electroconvulsive therapy
Electroconvulsive therapy involves a brief electrical stimulation of the brain while the patient is under anesthesia. We offer this specialized treatment for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Patient diagnosis, symptoms, medical history, potential risks and benefits and patient preference are all factors to determine referral eligibility.
