In oncoplastic surgery, our surgeons combine breast cancer tumor removal (a lumpectomy or partial mastectomy) and plastic surgery techniques (reconstructive surgery). We perform this at the same time as breast conservation surgery.

Oncoplastic surgery gives you confidence in knowing you can have your cancer removed while preserving the physical appearance of your natural breasts. Since this occurs during one surgery, it is preferable when possible and is useful to prevent the breast from being distorted or asymmetric.
