Hugh M. van Gelder, MD

Dr. Hugh van Gelder, MD is a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience, now returning to serve the community. He earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Emory University and completed his medical education at Cornell University Medical College in New York. Dr. van Gelder went on to complete a General Surgery residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a Thoracic Surgery residency at the University of Florida in Gaine
