James R. Post, MD

James Post, MD, FACC, joined The Heart Institute in 1995 straight out of his cardiology fellowship. This has been his one and only practice for now over 28 years!

He grew up in Long Island, NY and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude. Dr. Post then received his medical degree from New York University, his Internal Medicine internship/residence at Emory University and finally his cardiology fellowship returning to the University of Pen

Dr. Post is a non-invasive cardiologist and enjoys managing all aspects of adult heart disease as well as aggressive primary prevention and risk factor modification with the hope of averting the later development of heart disease.
